How It Works

First Lesson’s On Us

Curious how the first lesson works We make it easy to try one of our instructors out.

Here is what to Expect

Step 1 - Fill out the quick online inquiry form here. You can also email us at if forms are not your thing

Step 2 - A Triumph Employee will be in touch with you usually within 24 business hours. This step is a quick 5 min chat to talk about your goals, answer questions and provide pricing details. Since each student is different, we do not provide pricing over email. We also collect a credit card to hold your initial appointment.*

Step 3 - Once we get an idea of when you are available to come in, We put you in touch with the instructor we have selected for your initial FREE lesson. Check your email and confirm you are all set

Step 4 - Attend your initial appointment. Bring your instrument (if you have one) and any other items you might need. You will likely chat with the instructor but there will likely be plenty of time to get some practicing in.

If you enjoyed yourself and want to continue, feel free to confirm your next appointment with your instructor

Step 5 - Shortly after your appointment a Triumph employee will touch base with you to see how the lesson went, answer any questions you have, confirm pricing and schedule. They will then send you a quick online registration form to fill out. We have a low registration fee of $30.

It is that simple. After that, you are a Triumph student. You will work one-on-one with your instructor to reach your personal music goals

*Missing your initial appointment without rescheduling or canceling at least 24 hours in advance will result in a $35 charge to the credit card on file. This is to ensure our instructors are able to accommodate the most students.

When you take lessons with us, you become a member of Triumph Music Academy. A membership gets you one lesson/week as well as access to possible additional activities, such as The Big Gig, shows, festivals, and open mic nights.

We guarantee 4 lessons/month. For the months with 5 weeks in them, the 5th lesson is optional and scheduled according to the convenience of the teacher and the student.

You decide how long you’d like your weekly lesson to be: 30, 45, or 60 minutes We typically recommend 30” for beginners and kids and 45 intermediate and advanced students.

Pricing is determined by the length of your weekly lesson. We share our fee schedule when you first inquire and sign up for a free lesson.

Do you have more than one family member interested in signing up? We’re happy to provide a discount for musical families.
